Gisbo Software development joins IGEL Ready Program as a Technology Partner

Igel Ready

Gisbo software development joins a growing number of forward-thinking businesses that are integrating and validating their products through the new IGEL Ready program

Zweibrücken and San Francisco – April 2022 – today, Gisbo, leading developer for multi-level alarm systems, and IGEL, provider of the next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces, announced that a new, especially to the IGEL OS tailored version of their alarm software GisboAlarm will be released and available on the new IGEL Ready program as part of their role as a technology partner. IGEL Ready opens up the company’s core enterprise software for tech companies like Gisbo to integrate and validate its products, driving business growth and flexible access to enterprise applications for mutual customers of Gisbo and IGEL.

GisboAlarm is an intelligent multi-level alarm system and now also running as a service on the IGEL platform to ensure permanent protection on the IGEL OS. The alarm software was conceived as an effective security measure to protect personnel from aggressive attacks and/or danger from visitors, as well as protection of property by professionally organized measures.

Installed on a PC / Laptop, IGEL Client, your smartphone or triggered by an attached external device, GisboAlarm can immediately:

  • trigger a silent alarm / distress call
  • report a fire / an armed attack / a bomb threat
  • initiate an evacuation
  • transmit a medical emergency
  • send information

The generated messages can be sent individually and are delivered visually and/or audible to:

  • PCs/Laptops or ThinClients (also visible on locked screens, screen savers or when the server is down)
  • Smartphones running on iOS and Android (per SMS, Push, call or voicemail)
  • Telephones (the messages will be read dynamically using Text-to-Speech)
  • Fire alarm systems / public address systems (bi-directional, potential free contact)
  • SMS and E-Mail

The communication to these devices is bi-directional. The alarms can simply be triggered using either:

  • a keyboard (a key, a key combination or panic alarm)
  • a mouse (by clicking on desktop buttons and desktop shortcuts)
  • a USB-Button (external button)
  • a hand-held transmitter (stand-alone alarm – does not require a PC)
  • the mobile GisboAlarm – App with GPS-coordinates (immediate or delayed alarm)
  • a Bluetooth-button connected to the GisboAlarm – App for a fast alarm notification

As many organizations using IGEL OS for cloud workspaces and for our alarm system, it is essential for the software to work seamlessly in all environments. Together with IGEL, we developed and will maintain a perfectly integrated alarm software for their IGEL OS.

“The future of enterprise computing is in the cloud and the IGEL Ready technology partner program makes it easy for any company to deploy their applications to virtual desktops and cloud workspaces, reaching a new and relevant market while also enabling world-class customer service,” said Divya Saggar, Director, IGEL Ready. “We welcome Gisbo to our growing ecosystem of more than 100 IGEL Ready partners as they become part of a powerful validation movement in the end user computing industry.”
